New Charley Boorman series starts filming...

... After the slightly disappointing Long Way Down series last year, Charley Boorman has started on a solo trek to go from Ireland to Australia by any means possible - except by plane. The trip is slated to take around four months, and will be shown as a six-part series on BBC2 in the autumn. Long Way Down garnered four million viewers during its run, but with no Ewan McGregor on board, it'll be interesting to see how popular Charley is when going solo. Knowing how talented and entertaining he is, fingers crossed he pulls in the punters and that the show - provisionally titled By Any Means - lives up to its promise!
