We did create a handful of chances in the second half, but Savage survived all 90 minutes (thankfully he lost the corner kicking to Anderton, from where our best chances were fashioned) and Damien 'Back to Passing Back' Johnson was only substituted right at the death when it was too late.

As it is clear that (a) Savage and Johnson will be picked whenever available and regardless of form, and (b) Bruce's position will be bomb-proof until the end of the season at the earliest, I must start preparing myself for the worst. After all, come May, I won't be able to claim that relegation was a massive shock, considering it's been staring me in the face since last week.
