Ah, it's good to be back behind my desk with a deadline breathing down my neck... Yesterday, two packages that should have been signed for were left with next door, and no card was pushed through our door. It should be stated that as soon as Toni arrived home from work they came around and handed over the packages, so we're indebted to them for their honesty. The third of their three dormant cars has been moved out of their car port, and they appear to be fiddling with them all, so hopefully it's... Except I'm not allowed to think or say that for fear of another jinx!
So, on a different note, our e-tickets for the flight to Canada in September arrived today. My credit card is going to be bulging for a couple of months - thankfully the work that pays for this and our American jaunt in May has been long done, and I'm just waiting for it to arrive so I can pay it all off. The US trip takes priority for obvious reasons, but once that's paid for it's full steam ahead with clearing the credit card and then booking the various hotels we'll be staying in on our trip. This is the first holiday I've organised from scratch like this, and I'm enjoying it. No travel agents, no all-inclusive packages; everything is being set up from here using the power of the Interweb.
