At the very least you deserve to answer the letter sent to you by Charles Kennedy (printed in today's Independent, here). Just because you ducked questions about the war in Iraq doesn't mean you can duck this one, for whatever excuse you try to concoct. We all know that you have no intention of pursuing this matter - as witnessed by the fact you've replaced pro-reform Peter Hain with dinosaur John Prescott on the Electoral Policy committee - but to continue to act like a petty despot even though your majority wasn't cut to a critical level despite only scoring a pathetic 35% of the popular vote is an indictment of just how far you've fallen.
