Where have all our freedoms gone?

Read today's main story in the Independent (here), and then ask yourself: has the war on terror already been lost? If you're happy with Blair's systematic dismantling of our basic freedoms under the guise of "security" (for who? The Establishment certainly...), then ignore it; but if not, at which point do we say "Enough is enough"? And will we end up in jail for saying so?
