Did Flintoff overrule Fletcher?

This story (click here) is disappointing if true - apparently Fletcher was all for picking Panesar and Mahmood ahead of Anderson and Giles for the second test, but Flintoff and other senior players blocked him. Perhaps the argument about picking favourites should be levelled at our captain and his mates, not the coach. Whatever happens, let us hope they have learned a salutory lesson: omit Monty again, and we can kiss goodbye to the third test, and therefore the Ashes.
