There is something very wrong with our democracy when a government attempts to push through a new generation of nuclear power stations without proper public consultation. The fact it then attempts to do the same thing again despite being slapped down by the High Court is even more worrying (see here).
Of course, I say "worrying", but the fact is that too many people in this country are more worried about what's on TV tonight. Remind me why people fought in the Second World War again?
